As part of the PIVOTS program, LE STUDIUM (Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies), in conjunction with BRGM (French Geological Survey), University of Orléans, CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), INRA (National Institute for Agricultural Research), Antea Group (consulting and engineering), DREAM (cluster of companies) and Le STUDIUM, University of Orléans, CNRS, INRA and the DREAM competitiveness cluster Eau et Milieux are organizing from November 26 to 28, 2018 in Orleans the international conference ” Micropollutants in water: from detection to depollution “.
This conference will be an opportunity for university researchers, scientists and specialists in water transformation and related industries, to discuss the topic of emerging micropollutants in water, including the development of new sensors for water. in situ monitoring, innovative devices for on-site detection or laboratory analysis, and the clean-up of water and wastewater using cost-effective techniques.
Conferences, thematic sessions and poster presentations will highlight multi-disciplinary collaborations and the transfer of knowledge between scientists, industry and official authorities.
For this event, the DREAM Water and Environment Competitiveness cluster offers a privileged space for economic and academic actors during an exchange session on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 14:00 to 16:00 at Le Studium (Orléans).
Based on testimonials from companies and academics, feedback from experiences and concrete cases, this workshop will aim to identify locks and bring out strategic areas of work on micropollutants in the water.
