The European Water Test Network, of which BRGM (Orléans) is a partner, is launching the # 2 innovation challenge open to innovative SMEs in the water sector until February 1, 2020.
This call for projects seeks to foster innovation to improve the elimination and detection of pharmaceutical products in waters.
The winning SME will earn a voucher up to € 50,000 to use the network services (permanently available until August 2021) as well as personalized support for development (expertise and tests) and the enhancement of its technology internationally (promotion at international water fairs and creation of a specific webinar).
TERMS OF ACCESS :
- Be a French SME and respect the de minimis rules.
- Innovation project with a technological maturity (TRL) between 4 and 8.
- The SME agrees to pay its own travel costs and the transportation of the material to the test center.
OBJECTIVES OF THE CHALLENGE:
The European Water Test Network is looking for SMEs capable of helping to detect and / or remove pharmaceutical products from wastewater indicated in the surface water monitoring list set by the European Union.
You will be able to test your innovative technology in a real test environment (municipal treatment plant or untreated wastewater from a hospital).
Innovation must be profitable and efficient. Applications from organic micropollutants removal technologies as well as innovative analytical methods, technologies or tools are welcome.
