A visit by CNRS-ICARE researchers is planned from February 25th to 27th, 2021 to launch the collaboration with the company CHROMATOTEC based in Val de Virvée (33).
The PRAT platform has an important and very efficient analytical park. Among these instruments, a gas chromatograph (AirmoVOC C2-C6 and C6-C16, Chromatotec) coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS) for measuring a wide spectrum of VOCs made up of compounds of 2 to 16 atoms of carbon. This instrument was acquired within the framework of the PIVOTS project and a future collaboration (CIFRE grant) should soon emerge with the aim of making an analytical development of these techniques for the atmospheric measurement of volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds.
